Operetta Festival summer 2015 - Lamalou les Bains

The Operetta Festival of Lamalou les Bains is one of the most important cultural and popular events in Languedoc Roussillon. You can see and hear the most prestigious performers of our time surrounded by the Orchestra, Choir and Ballet Festival. The Operetta Festival of Lamalou les Bains takes place from 31st July to 20th August, music, song, dance and laughter. 90 artists will perform on the stage of the theater of Lamalou-les-Bains in Gipsy of Francis Lopez, Les Mousquetaires au Couvent of Luis Varney. Then four comic operas including two creations for Lamalou: L'Elixir d'amour of Gaetano Donizetti and Lakmé of Léo Delibes; Carmen of Georges Bizet, Les Pêcheurs de perles by Georges Bizet. Followed by two "light and Mediterranean" operettas: La Belle de Cadix of Francis Lopez and Un de la Canebière of Vincent Scotto. Will then gave a concert tribute to Paulette Merval and Marcel Merkes.
